If you’ve already booked a session that session is NOT eligible for the contest. If you want to upgrade to another package you will simply pay the difference. Prints are NOT included, you will be able to buy prints from the A La Carte menu presented to you at proofing. Session must take place before November 30, 2011. I don’t think this would happen but just in case, please don’t encourage friends to like me for the duration of the contest then unlike me after…that would make me sad. Lastly please consider location. I primarily work in the Fort Worth/Aledo/Weatherford/Brock area so if you don’t mind driving to one of these towns play the game!!!

DIY {Rosettes}

Pinterest has once again paid off. I have admired these fabric rosettes for a long time now and until Pinterest never even attempted to make them. I found a great video tutorial here and began right away. I twisted and glued until my hands cramped….took a break….then twisted and glued some more!! Here are a few that I came up with,

Then after a fun trip to Joann’s fabric/craft store in Fort Worth I had all the supplies to turn these into a wonderful, fun handmade headband!!

These cost me almost nothing to make. The purple fabric was a pillow case I bought from Ross months ago for another project, the other fabric was free scraps from my old job, the center embellishments were in my stash. The only things I had to buy were the actual headband and the felt to line in the underside for a finished look. While at Joann’s I loaded up on a few more Fall fabrics and embellishments. I will also be making some hair clips. I’ll keep posting pictures as I make them up! Most I will use for photo sessions, so if you have a little girl I will be ready!! Let me know if you’ve attempted these. I’d love to see what you’ve made!

God Bless Texas {Thomas}

This handsome little guy is my younger brother’s little boy. We were watching Sunday football and took a halftime break to go outside and take a few photos. They have this painted on one of their barns.

He is starting to say the cutest things. He cracks me up all the time, especially with all his different facial expressions. He’s also becoming a busy little boy. Too busy sometimes to pause and give me a hug. Like yesterday I asked for one, he thinks about it a second and replies “I can’t right now”! Needless to say I tricked him into giving me one!!

We have a future heartbreaker on our hands!

To make matters worse (for the future girls) he is being raised to be super polite. He walked in wearing a hat the other day and I told him I liked it…he takes it off and looks over said hat and replies “Thank you”.

He totally has Aunt Mina (me!) wrapped around his finger!

So proud of the little man he is growing in to.  Good job to his parents Adam and Sarah!!

Maternity {L}

I hit the nail on the head with this photoshoot, both for what I had envisioned and most importantly what she had envisioned. Country, rustic, vintage, sunset….and more!

This was a family heirloom rocking chair belonging to the father’s grandmother. I love incorporating important things like this into sessions.

Send me an email for bookings 🙂 The weather is perfect!!
