Wednesday Etsy Day {Gray}

Formerly, Wednesday Doesn’t Rhyme with Anything, which was a mouth full. And not in a good way like when I have a mouth full of my mom’s cake. Do we all agree? Awesome, lets start shopping.

Ok I LOVE gray…love love love it! I love it with white for a super nice clean fresh look. I love it with yellow for that spectacular pop of color. I love it because it’s neutral without being boring. In honor of this love of mine I’ve collected some Etsy treasuries that feature, none other than….the color gray. (And it is grAy in America, grEy in Europe, so I’ve been told) Please click on the images to go to the Etsy page for ordering or to browse other finds.

Uplifting

I’ve already received so much support from friends and family and even new acquaintances encouraging me to do what I love and praying for my success. A dear friend emailed me this today and I couldn’t resist posting for everyone to read. This message from Joel and Victoria Osteen hit straight to my heart and of course made me smile!

In this life, anytime you begin to succeed and walk in the blessing of
God to the fullness, people are going to criticize. People will judge
you. People will be jealous. But you know what? That’s their problem.
Don’t apologize for what God is doing in your life. When you make
excuses for God’s goodness, when you downplay His blessings and favor
or call it luck or coincidence, really, that’s an insult to our God.
The scripture says in Deuteronomy that “It is the Lord that gives you
the power to get wealth.” That means God is the One giving you the
ideas. He’s the One that’s giving you the creativity. He’s giving you
the strength to succeed. He gave you the favor. He gave you the good
breaks. As long as you stay humble and give Him all the credit, you
have nothing to apologize for. Our job as believers is to make Him
known. We should be examples of His goodness, peace, hope, joy and
life.
Today, don’t shrink back from giving God all the credit. Don’t
downplay your blessing. Thank Him and praise Him for what He’s doing
in your life now and what He will do in your future. Make Him known
and give Him all the glory!

Many blessings to all of you!

Good News!!

Okay actually is not good news….its amazing, fantabulous news!!!! I just came back from vacation, visiting my sister and family in WA state, where I relaxed and escaped the blistering TX heat. And upon coming to terms with going back to reality and my 9-5 I realized that I just needed to DO SOMETHING…so I gave my notice today after work….and I have no plans….no job offers….no job searching….and a rental lease that is up in September. I plan to stay at my current position until the end of September, we have to find someone and then I have a lot to train them on.

{quickly if you are unaware of what my “normal” job is I will give you a run through – I manage the office of a small interior design firm in Fort Worth, TX. Basically it’s just the two owners, myself, and a part time lady. I manage books for 4 companies that make up the entire firm, process all the design orders, answer phones, run sales, A/R, A/P, payroll, taxes, inventory, design ads, maintain the website, and also act as a personal assist to the owner and her husband who owns one of the four companies.} Did you pull your hair out reading that???

I feel like a have the world at my feet and I coudn’t be happier!! I would love to find something to where I can devote more time with this business. I’m just excited to see what happens next and where I might go. I’m young, no kids, no husband or boyfriend for that matter so I’m basically free to spread my wings….and I think I’ll do just that!!

While I’ve got you here I wanted to share some images of my trip. I took over 1000 and these are just a few I couldn’t wait to edit. Enjoy! And I truly hope all of you are living a happy life, because life is way too short to be unhappy and YOU can change that!
