When you see these next two pictures you’ll understand why I just had to share another peek. Isn’t she just the sweetest lil thing?!

I wanted to give you a waaaay better photo of my little studio spot. That last photo was off my phone and looks pretty bad. So here’s my setup before my newborn shoot yesterday.
Hope everyone is having a fun and safe holiday weekend. Let’s not forget the women and men of our military’s past and present who we are honoring.
Woke up very excited this morning, early on a Saturday…usually I’m not excited about that haha…but on this morning I was going to be shooting my first newborn….the others have been 4 and 5 weeks old so not really “newborn”. I’ve taken her older sisters’ pictures (look under Photography > Little Ones > Camp Girls) and now her debut portraits. I truly have found what I enjoy doing soooo much ( so much like I said I happily get up early on the weekends!) Let me introduce to you Miss Kaitlie, 7 days new.
Please click the photography tab for current packages and prices. Happy Saturday!
P.S. Also proud of myself because I made that cute little hat!
Okay here are my picks for today. I hope you enjoyed the more detailed version of last week. Hey, and if you have any Etsy favorites please leave me a comment and I might just feature it in a future Wednesday post!!!
Shop: River Of Romansk
I just love these dresses. They seem to be so simple but oh so elegant at the same time. Maybe easy to wear is more like it! I could really see her designs as the go-to-dress in my closet! The prices are very wallet friendly, too.
Shop: Allisa Jacobs
It’s all about the fabrics and patterns and this girl nails it!!! She makes clutches, cosmetic bags, wristlets, handbags, and more! She also makes bridal sets for all you soon-to-be’s! (I just had a hard time choosing two pictures to show you! You’ve got to visit her store)
Shop: Rose and Raven
And to complete the apparently women’s clothing/accessory post – a little jewelry. I just stumbled upon this shop but was instantly blown away by all the unique designs and materials. Her style, modern yet vintage – soooo very much me! Check her out…..
Wow what great artists you can find on Etsy….it’s endless! Please continue (or begin haha) to buy handmade. Until next time, God Bless!
So last Wednesday I started an idea where I give you a few of my favorite Etsy finds/shops. I posted them on my Facebook and, well, it wasn’t very inviting if you ask me. So I’ve decided to post them here, also as an attempt to keep my site fresh and fun!! Here is a more detailed look at my finds from last week:
Shop: For The Love Of Joy
I just love her color choices and her use of linen. Linen is my most favorite type of fabric. If it’s linen I want it!! She makes the cutest “Mug Rugs” for your coffee cup and a muffin, if you so choose.
Shop: La Pomme
Antiques are a love of mine passed down from my mother. Give me a flea market on a Saturday morning and I’ll be one happy camper!! And let’s face it, America has “old” things but not nearly as “old” as those found across the pond. Reason #1 for my love of this shop, antiques from the South of France!
Vintage French Sheet Music & Vintage French Country Tin
Shop: Just Hatched
Video games, Xbox, Wii, iPhones….kids are programmed too early these days with all these new gadgets. What happened to, well I guess, “Old Fashioned” toys?! My reason for loving this shop. Handmade wooden toys, puzzles, and more!
Wooden Puzzle & Wooden Book
There you have it! The first set of my Favs from last week….stay tuned for this week’s.
So I had a request for updates on the studio I posted about at the New Year. I’ve only gotten to use it once, but hey at least it was there to use!!
Here’s a snapshot of what it looks like today….still messy but serves it’s purpose.
I salvaged those two carpet pieces just to have something other than the dirty concrete. Now I have dirty carpet! haha The tall beadboard was originally thought of for a backdrop but with the session I recently had in here I used it to clip the fabrics to. I had a small table in front and the fabric (my mom’s vintage quilts/blankets) drapes perfectly over it. This little set up will have to suffice until I purchase actual backdrops and floor drops. That day can’t come soon enough!! I think its just around the corner!!
Here’s the two shelves my dad helped me hang. All my smaller props and bagged up fabrics are all here. It’s so nice to get things UP off the floor!
I have some shoots coming up that I’m so excited for and can’t wait to share. I am so horrible at uploading photos here so please always check my Facebook page for all my photo sessions.
